Meritage

Nice wine. Tastes a bit like a Cote Du Rhone. I had it with a plate that was a combination of Prime Rib and Quail. The prime rib needed a good and healthy tasting wine, while I couldn't have something to overpowering with the Quail. This wine worked well. If you are not having too gamy a bird, but want the nice taste of wine, this is a good choice.
