Had this while eating a plate of sausages, and ziti with marinara sauce. The sauce was great, the ziti was great, the sausage was great, and the wine was great too. The bottle has been in my cellar for a few years, so it had been well cared for. First thing to do is let this wine breath a bit. The taste was wonderful after the bottle was allowed to breath. Once the aroma has filled the room, then it's time to enjoy the pleasure of this baby. The wine to tongue sensation was excellent. It was racing to get out of the bottle. The taste after smell was excellent, as well. Some excellent wines just make my whole body tingle and get warm. This bottle was one of those wines for me.
