Leaping Lizard, 2001 Napa Valley Merlot

We first tasted this wine at a wine tasting. Something about it caught my nose then. Sometime later we drank this with a turkey dinner meal, similar to a Thanksgiving meal. What a nose on this wine. Such complex smells. Then you drink it and it makes your insides all warm. The nose is backed up by the taste. It's hard to explain the taste, all I know is that it's wines like these that got me to start loving wine, and it's wines like these that will keep me coming back.
