La Tosa Valnure Frizzante 2002

Valnure is a blend of primarily malvasia and trebbiano grapes. It is a delightful wine with an amazing nose - very fruity, yet it has a dry crisp taste. The most interesting thing about this wine is that it is fizzy, it has bubbles like a sparkling wine. We drank the wine with a salad, which was wonderful since the salad dressing had maple syrup in it and was slightly sweet. The wine worked perfectly with the salad, but was also great all by itself.
