Cartlidge & Browne, Pinot Noir, 2002, California
Great young, fruity and drinkable pinot noir. It is medium bodied, has very soft tannins, and is somewhat plumy in flavor. It goes well with anything with grilled meat to Asian foods. I actually had it with slightly spicy Chinese food and it worked really well since it could stand up to the spicier dishes but did not overpower sauteed shrimp and peapods. Great price as well!!
