Just enjoyed a very nice glass of Rodney Strong Estate Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2005.  The aromas are extremely bold with flavors focused on red plum and dark cherry.  In my opnion it is a very smooth wine.  As with Cabernets being on the heavier side, a nice pairing to this delicious wine is with a classic steak dinner!
