2005 Barton & Guestier Beaujolais

I drank this wine while chatting with my wife and Mom. Then continued to drink it with a dinner of cajun spiced catfish, potatoes, and grilled asparagas.

The predominant feeling of the wine was that it was smooth. It didn't over power me either drinking it alone or with the meal. And for the most part I enjoyed the taste and didn't pay it a lot of attention as we all talked and ate.

I would say it's a very good generic accompanying wine.
