Quite light in color, and the nose is giving away very little - 2005 Chateau Malbiche Bordeaux

Entre-Deux-Mers, Premières Côtes de Bordeaux

Cabernet Sauvignon based claret.

Quite light in color, and the nose is giving away very little, other than vague red berries.
Cassis, currant, and blackberry are evident in the mouth.

For $10, this is a pretty well made wine, but certainly not reflective of the superb 2005 vintage. 83 pts.
