... fabulous with game for Christmas... - 2007 Red Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine would be fabulous with game for Christmas; Peasant, Duck or a properly cooked Prime Rib or Crown Rib Roast.

A friend of mine from Northern California was in town for one of our many visits per year. We both loved this wine, especially at the price! It has smells of berries you’re your first sip and we both agreed there was a hint of the flavor of chocolate milk made with Hershey’s syrup as the wine made its way down our throats. I swallowed twice hoping for another bit of that particular essence. Subtle and Delicious!

This year we are going International with our Christmas Eve fare:
I am going to serve this wine with homemade pork and cranberry tamales, chicken livers and sausage in a red wine sauce, and fried rice. Happy Holidays!
