Very enjoyable cab - 2004 Chatom Vineyards, Calaveras County, Cabernet Sauvignon

Color is crimson to dark red in a medium to full bodied wine. Curiously smelled and tasted of red fruit (raspberries) but in the mouth revealed some nice plum and blackberry components. Some notes of spice and vanilla with medium tannins and finish. Very enjoyable cab with little if any herbaceous (green pepper) smells or tastes. Recommended
